Mentorship

Literal

  • Log
  • Margie Padilla

    Interpretive

  • While going to the boot camp and other classes my mentor was instructing I was able to get great information about building muscle from her and all the techniques she taught me while i was mentoring with her. With all the information she gave me i was able to apply a variety or cardio workout for burning fat and also apply better form to my daily workouts.
  Applied

  • Because throughout this process of working out and learning from my mistakes it showed me how to not make those mistakes and what is the best way to get there. Since my EQ is "what is the way to build upper body muscles" I am able to use the mistakes i did and put answers on how i solved that issue and how did i properly build muscles

2-Hour Meeting Answer #3

1.  What is your essential question?
What is the best way to build upper body muscle?

2.  What is your third answer to your essential question (write your third answer in a complete sentence)?
The third answer for my essential question is sleep.

3.  What are three details to support or justify your third answer (details are examples or facts)?

-Sleep helps rest the muscle after a workout because you put a lot of stress on them after a workout and it needs a rest

-Sleep helps rebuild torn tissue you put on your muscle from exercises.

-If you don't get enough sleep your body will react to these poor condition and you may not absorb more nutrients and may possibly gain more weight if you keep repeating this process

4.  What source helped you prove this answer is justified for your essential question?
My mentor and some mens fitness magazine. My mentor gave me many issues that may happen if you do not get enough sleep like your muscle not functioning as well as before when you had plenty of sleep. The mens fitness magazine gave me information on how less sleep can cause you to eat more than usual.

5.  What do you plan to study next and why?
Mostly protein or supplements that help build mass and muscle because since i'm pretty skinny i need a lot of protein to take my body to the next level and increase in mass a little more
